Clear Scraps

So it has been a super busy February and March, and today is only the ninth !! We were gone snowmobiling the last three weekends in Feb, and Jeff went again this past weekend. Thankfully I think the snow is gone through most of the state, so the season is coming to an end. Unfortunately we aren't slowing down any, we are both in a wedding on May first, so now we have showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and rehearsals. Lots of great opportunities to take pictures, not a whole lot of time to get scrappy stuff done, but I have done a few small projects and actually got a few layouts done this weekend which I will share later in the week.
Clear scraps was having a design team call a few weeks ago, so I did a few projects and tried out. I love working with acrylic, but boy is it hard to photograph, so I apologize for the picture quality, I just couldn't get the lighting right.

Both projects use their coasters, which come in a three pack. The top project is a pretty simple mini album with papers from KI Company, and a couple of more recent pics of Jeff and I. The second project was the most difficult to photograph. I stamped two different images on the acrylic with staz on, in two different colors, then put in through my Zutter machine and laced the pieces together using ribbon, the letters are K & Company, and the heart I cut out of chipboard, sprayed with glimmer mist and dotted with stickles. It too is pretty simple, but the pictures just don't do it justice.
I didn't get selected for the Clear Scraps design team, which is alright, because I just found out that I am going to be August's guest designer for Scrapbook Sussies !! I am sooo excited and thankful for this opportunity. Scrapbook Sussies is a non-commitment monthly scrapbook club that I have been getting for about two years now, and love it. If you are looking to join a club, this is one to definitely check out !
I will post some layouts soon, just waiting for the sun to break so I can get some good pictures !
Thanks for stopping !
