Great Weekend & My 1st Digi !

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a great Valentine's Day. There were no complaints on our weekend. The weather was perfect on Saturday for snowmobiling, and we did lots of it. Had such a good time, and the trails were in great shape that we are going back again this weekend.

Since we were gone all weekend, I didn't get much paper scrapping done, but I did try my first digital layout. I got all the elements from the Scrap n' Art Blog, and had so much fun playing with them that I signed up to be a subscriber. They offer several kits to subscribers throughout the year, plus you get their e-zine. It was just too good of a deal for me to pass up. So here is my layout.

Friday !!

Alright, so I know I missed a day, but I didn't get as much Valentine's Day stuff done as I wanted to since we decided to go up north this weekend. I have just a few cards to share. The first set uses Bo Bunny's adorable Love Bandit collection, and the second set uses SEI collections.
Well, I'm off to go snowmobiling. I hope everyone has a great weekend !!

Winter Wonderland

So it finally stopped snowing here sometime early this morning. All said and done, we got about 14 inches. I only wish I could have gotten a snow day out of it, but the roads were all clear this morning. Hopefully it will still be light out when I get home and I can take some pics.
I have a few misc. layouts to share today, the first seems fitting as it is from last winter. It's Jeff racing at a local radar run. The papers and embellishments are reminisce, not sure what the line is called, it's kind of old, but I told myself no more new paper until I used up some of what I already have.
This next one has a very summer feel to it. The background paper is My Mind's Eye, with everything else being Bo Bunny.

And the last one is a two pager of pics of Milwaukee that I took on a river cruise last summer. These papers are also My Mind's Eye.

Tomorrow I will have some Valentine's Day project to share.

Fall Inspiration

Day 2 as promised is full of fall layouts. I just love the colors that change throughout the season and took so many pictures, that I ended up with quite a few layouts. These first two layouts were made with Club SEI's November kit. I really liked all the texture and foil and die cut pages that came with this kit, and the colors were just so rich.

The pics from the second layout are of a walking path near my house that I never knew existed, until the day I took these. I wanted to explore it a little further, but not by myself during hunting season, I didn't want to be mistaken for a deer ! Now I can't wait for spring to start exploring it. This next layout uses a Crate Paper line, I think it is called lemongrass. The embellishments are also from this line. These pictures are of the Root River, that runs not too far from my house.

Finally it wouldn't be complete without a couple of fall dog layouts, so I did one of each of my guys. First is Toby sitting so still , and then Powder, who never sits still, playing in the leaves. Toby's layout uses the Crate paper line again, and Powder's uses Bo Bunny's Delilah line.

Check back tomorrow for more!

New Goals

I have been a bad blogger lately, but I have set a new goal for myself of posting at least once a week. Since it's been sooo long since my last post, I will be posting everyday this week to catch up on everything. First I have to give a great big thank you to Julia Sandvoss, for the great prize I received for posting a comment to her blog. Julia designs for Bo Bunny and her projects are amazing, be sure to stop by her blog and check out her work, plus you could win a great prize:)
Next, a little bit of what has been going on in our household, it has been snowmobile, snowmobile, snowmobile. Jeff has been super busy getting not only our machines ready to go, but working on other people's machines as well. All his hard work is paying off, as we went to a race yesterday in IL, and he won both classes he entered. It turned out to be a beautiful day, not to cold with light snow falling in the morning. I did however, forget that just because it is February and snowing that you can still get sunburned. My face is a little red and sore this morning. Here's a few pics from the day.

And now on to some scrappy goodness. I have actually been pretty productive these last few weeks. Two weekends ago, the boys went snowmobiling, so us girls had a scrappy day at my house. Now I didn't actually get that much done while they were here, since we were too busy gabbing and watching girly movies, but it motivated me to get started and have done about one layout a day since (which is really good for me). The following layouts were made using the Scrapbook Sussies February kit. Their kits are two sided each month, and I've only used one side so far, it featured Crate Paper's Seasons line. This line is awesome, the bold colors are great and the pictures don't do it justice.

That's all for today, check back tomorrow for some fall layouts !!
